It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mujashi‘ bin Mas‘ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that he brought his nephew to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) so that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would take his pledge of allegiance for migration. Now this person will be among those who follow with excellence.
Hadith 10638
(Second chain) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mujashi’ (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: After the conquest of Makkah, I came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with my brother Ma’bad and said: O Messenger of Allah! I have brought my brother to you so that you may take his pledge of migration. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Those who migrated have already gone ahead with the reward of migration. In another narration, it is: Migration has already surpassed with its people. I said: Then upon what will you take his pledge, O Messenger of Allah? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Upon Islam, faith, and jihad. Yahya bin Ishaq, the narrator, says: Later I met Sayyiduna Ma’bad (may Allah be pleased with him), who was the elder brother of Sayyiduna Mujashi’ (may Allah be pleased with him), and asked him the same question. He said: Mujashi’ has spoken the truth.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Safwan bin Umayyah bin Khalaf, may Allah be pleased with him, that someone said to him: Those who did not migrate have perished. I (Safwan) said: I will not go to my family until I have gone to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. So I mounted my ride and reached the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. I said: O Messenger of Allah! Some people think that those who did not migrate have perished? The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: By no means, O Abu Wahb, so return to the valleys of Makkah.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Safwan bin Umayyah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I said, "O Messenger of Allah! People say that only those who have migrated will enter Paradise."
Narrated from Sayyiduna Jubair bin Mut’im (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I said, "O Messenger of Allah! People are thinking that there is no reward for us in Mecca." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Your rewards will surely, surely reach you, even if you are in a fox’s den." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) lowered his blessed head towards me and said: "Among my companions, there are also hypocrites."
Hadith 10643
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked about migration (hijrah). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You would be ruined, for it is a very difficult matter. Well, do you have camels? He said: Yes. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: Do you give their zakat? He said: Yes. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: Do you give gifts from them? He said: Yes. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: On the day of watering, do you milk them and give it to people? He said: Yes. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Then surely, even if you continue to act across the seas, Allah will not diminish anything from your deeds.
Hadith 10644
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that when Surah Nasr {اِذَا جَائَ نَصْرُ اللّٰہِ وَالْفَتْحُ وَرَأَیْتَ النَّاسَ} was revealed, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited it in full and then said: "People are one group, and I and my companions are another group." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) further said: "After the conquest of Makkah, there is no migration, but jihad and intention remain." Marwan said to Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him): "You are lying," while Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij and Sayyiduna Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with them both) were also present with him and were sitting on the couch with him. Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) replied: "If these two wish, they can also narrate this hadith to you, but he fears losing the leadership of his people and fears losing the responsibility of collecting zakat and charity." So both of them remained silent, but when Marwan got up to whip Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) and they saw this action, they said: "Abu Sa'id Khudri is telling the truth."
