It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that on the night when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was taken on the Isra, he (peace and blessings be upon him) entered Paradise and heard a light sound from one side of it. He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: O Jibreel! What is this sound? He replied: This is Bilal, the muezzin. Then when he (peace and blessings be upon him) came to the people, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, Bilal has succeeded; I have seen this for him. During the journey of Mi’raj, Musa (peace be upon him) met you and welcomed the unlettered Prophet. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: He was a wheat-colored, tall man, his hair was straight and reached to his ears or above his ears. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Jibreel! Who is this? He replied: This is Musa (peace be upon him). Then you moved ahead and Isa (peace be upon him) met you and welcomed you. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Jibreel! Who is this? He replied: This is Isa (peace be upon him). Then you moved ahead and an elder met you (peace and blessings be upon him), he was of great majesty and awe, he also welcomed you (peace and blessings be upon him) and greeted you, in fact, all of them greeted you (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: O Jibreel! Who is this? He replied: This is your father Ibrahim (peace be upon him). Then when he (peace and blessings be upon him) looked into the fire, he found some people eating dead corpses and asked: O Jibreel! Who are these people? He replied: These are those who used to eat the flesh of people, that is, they used to backbite them. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) saw another person, he was red in color, his eyes were blue, he was short in stature and his hair was disheveled. He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: Jibreel! Who is this? He replied: This is the one who hamstrung the she-camel. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) entered Masjid al-Aqsa, he (peace and blessings be upon him) stood and began to pray. When he turned his attention and then turned again, he saw that all the noble Prophets were praying with him (peace and blessings be upon him). When he (peace and blessings be upon him) finished the prayer, two bowls were brought to him, one from the right side and one from the left side, one contained milk and the other contained honey. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) took the milk and drank it. The angel who had the bowl said: You have chosen the natural disposition.
