Hadith 10526
It is narrated from Salim bin Abi J'ad that Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) called some of the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), among whom was Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him), ... ... , then Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Shall I tell you about Ammar? I was walking with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in the valley of Batha, while he was holding my hand, when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by the father (Sayyiduna Yasir, may Allah be pleased with him) and mother (Sayyida Sumayyah, may Allah be pleased with her) of Sayyiduna Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him), while they were being tortured. So the father of Sayyiduna Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah! Does a time like this also come? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to them: Be patient. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Allah! Forgive the family of Yasir, and indeed I have done so.
Hadith 10527
Syedna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Are you not amazed at how the abuse and insults of the Quraysh are averted from me? They curse Mudhammam, they speak ill of Mudhammam, but I am Muhammad."
Hadith 10528
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that Jibreel (Gabriel), peace be upon him, came to the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, one day while he, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, was sitting in a state of sorrow and there was blood on him, because some people of Makkah had beaten him, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. Jibreel, peace be upon him, said to him: What has happened to you? He, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, replied: These people have done this to me. Jibreel, peace be upon him, said: Do you wish that I show you a sign? He, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, replied: Yes. He (Jibreel) saw a tree beyond the valley and said to him, peace and blessings be upon him and his family: Call that tree. So he, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, called it, and it came walking and stood before him, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. Then Jibreel, peace be upon him, said: Now command it to return. So he, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, commanded it, and it returned to its place. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said: That is sufficient for me.
Hadith 10529
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Harith Zubaidi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that he and a friend of his passed by Sayyiduna Ayman (may Allah be pleased with him), and there were some people from the Quraysh who had removed their lower garments and, having wrapped them around themselves, were hitting each other while they were naked. When we passed by them, they said about us: "These are priestly people, leave them." Then suddenly the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived there. When they saw him, they scattered. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) returned in a state of anger and entered the house, saying—while I was listening from behind the chamber—"Glory be to Allah! These people did not feel any shame before Allah, nor did they conceal themselves from His Messenger." Sayyida Umm Ayman (may Allah be pleased with her) was with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and she said: "O Messenger of Allah! Seek forgiveness for them." Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sought forgiveness for them, but only after difficulty and delay."
Hadith 10530
It is narrated from Masruq that Sayyiduna Khabbab bin Al-Aratt (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I was a blacksmith in Makkah. I did some work for ‘As bin Wa’il and some dirhams of mine accumulated with him. One day I went to him to demand my payment, but he said: I will not give you these dirhams until you disbelieve in Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). I said: By Allah! I will never disbelieve in Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), until such a time comes that you die and are then resurrected. He replied: When I am resurrected, I will have wealth and children. In another narration, it is stated: He said: So indeed, when I die and am then resurrected, I will have wealth and children there, and at that time I will repay you this debt. Sayyiduna Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When I mentioned this to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), Allah Almighty revealed this verse: Have you seen him who disbelieved in Our verses and said, “I will surely be given wealth and children”? Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken a promise from the Most Merciful? No! We will record what he says and will increase for him from the punishment extensively. And We will inherit from him what he mentions, and he will come to Us alone. (Surah Maryam: 77–80)
Hadith 10531
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khabbab bin Al-Aratt (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: We came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting in the shade of the Ka'bah, having made his cloak a cushion, and we said: O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah for us and seek help from Him for us. Upon hearing this, the color of his (peace and blessings be upon him) face turned red or changed (the narrator is unsure about the exact words), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The people before you used to be put in a pit, then a saw would be brought and placed on their heads and they would be split in two, but this pain would not turn them away from the religion of Allah. Similarly, with iron combs, the flesh and nerves would be torn from their bones, but this trial would not turn them away from the religion. Listen, Allah will surely, surely complete this religion so that a rider will travel from Sana'a to Hadramaut and will fear none but Allah, and will only fear the wolf for his sheep, but you are being hasty.
