Hadith 10521
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was in the state of prostration, while the Qurayshi people were sitting around him. Meanwhile, ‘Uqbah bin Abi Mu‘ayt came with the uterus of a slaughtered she-camel and threw it on the back of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not raise his head. In the meantime, Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) arrived and removed it from the Prophet’s back, and invoked a curse upon those who had done this. Thereupon, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed against them in these words: “O Allah! Seize the chiefs of the Quraysh: Abu Jahl, ‘Utbah bin Rabi‘ah, Shaybah bin Rabi‘ah, ‘Uqbah bin Abi Mu‘ayt, and Umayyah bin Khalaf (or Ubayy bin Khalaf).” Then I saw these people killed on the day of Badr and thrown into the well, except for Umayyah or Ubayy, whose joints were dislocated, so he was not thrown into the well.
In the hadith, the word “Salajzur” is used here. “Nasla” means the membrane (uterus) in which the child lies and which comes out of the female’s womb after the birth of the child. “Jazur” is used for both male and female, rather it applies to every slaughtered animal. In one narration of Bukhari (520), these words are mentioned: “its dung, blood, and uterus,” meaning its dung, blood, and uterus were brought. This shows that the entrails were also brought and thrown upon the Prophet. (Abdullah Rafiq)
Hadith 10522
(In the second chain) In this narration, the narrator additionally mentioned the names of Amr bin Hisham, Umayyah bin Khalaf, and Amarah bin Walid.
Hadith 10523
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) turned towards the House of Allah and invoked a curse upon seven individuals of the Quraysh. Among them were Abu Jahl, Umayyah bin Khalaf, Shaybah bin Rabi’ah, and ‘Uqbah bin Abi Mu’it. Indeed, I saw all of those individuals thrown into the well of Badr. Since it was an extremely hot day, the sun also caused some change in their appearance.
Hadith 10524
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Urwah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (may Allah be pleased with them both): Tell me, what was the greatest harm that the polytheists caused to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was performing prayer in the courtyard of the Ka'bah when Uqbah bin Abi Mu'it came there. He grabbed the shoulder of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), put a cloth around his neck, twisted it, and strangled him severely. Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) came forward, grabbed the wretch's shoulder, pulled him away from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and said: Do you kill a man because he says, "My Lord is Allah," and he has brought you clear signs from your Lord?

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Urwah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (may Allah be pleased with him): What is the most severe hardship that the Quraysh inflicted upon the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) due to their enmity? He said: I myself was present once, the nobles of Quraysh were gathered in Hatim, they mentioned the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: We have shown more patience towards this man (Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him) than we have ever shown before. He has made our wise men fools, insulted our forefathers, declared our religion to be defective, created division in our community, and spoken ill of our gods. We have been patient over a great matter. While they were talking like this, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) also arrived. He (peace and blessings be upon him) advanced, touched the Black Stone, and while circumambulating the Ka'bah, passed by them. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by them, they made gestures with their eyes and eyebrows (mocking him) because of some of his words. I noticed this on the face of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) (i.e., he realized what they were doing and signs of anger appeared on his face). Nevertheless, he (peace and blessings be upon him) moved on. When he passed by them a second time, they again made gestures with their eyes. I recognized this by looking at his (peace and blessings be upon him) face. Then, when he (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by them a third time and they made gestures with their eyes, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O assembly of Quraysh! Listen! By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad! I have come to you with destruction. This statement affected them so much that each one of them became silent as if a bird was sitting on his head. Then the one among them who was previously the harshest in his will (against the Prophet), began to praise him (peace and blessings be upon him) in the best words and said: O Abu al-Qasim! Go ahead, go ahead, you are rightly guided. By Allah! You are not ignorant. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) moved on. When the next day came and they gathered in Hatim, while I was also with them, some of them said to others: Yesterday you mentioned those matters which you and he (Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him) have suffered from each other, then when he came before you and mentioned those very things which you disliked, you left him alone. So they were engaged in such talk when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) also arrived there. This time, they all together jumped towards him (peace and blessings be upon him), surrounded him, and said: Are you the one who says such things about our gods and religion? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Yes, I am the one who says such things. Then I saw one of them grab his (peace and blessings be upon him) cloak. Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) came weeping and said: Do you kill a man who says, "My Lord is Allah"? Then they left from there. This was the most severe harm that the Quraysh inflicted upon the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). I had never seen such hardship.
