It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: We were picking the fruit of the arak tree with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Pick the black ones, for indeed they are the best. Syedna Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the owners of camels and goats boasted to one another in the presence of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Pride and arrogance are found among the owners of camels, and tranquility and dignity are found among the owners of goats. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When Musa (peace be upon him) was appointed (as a prophet), he used to graze his family's goats, and when I was appointed (as a prophet), I used to graze my family's goats at Ji'ad.
