بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي وَرْقَةَ بْنِ نَوفَلِ بْنِ عَمِّ خَدِيجَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِي ﷺ و رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہَا
Chapter: What has been reported regarding Waraqah bin Nawfal, the uncle of Khadijah, the Prophet's wife ﷺ, may Allah be pleased with her
Hadith 10453
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّ خَدِيجَةَ سَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ وَرَقَةَ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ فَقَالَ قَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ فِي الْمَنَامِ فَرَأَيْتُ عَلَيْهِ ثِيَابَ بَيَاضٍ فَأَحْسِبُهُ لَوْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ لَمْ يَكُنْ عَلَيْهِ ثِيَابُ بَيَاضٍ
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that Sayyida Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) about Waraqah bin Nawfal. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: I saw him in a dream, he was wearing white clothes. I think that if he were among the people of Hell, he would not be wearing white clothes.
