Hadith 10429
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Namla Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When the People of the Book relate something to you, neither affirm it nor deny it, but say: We believe in Allah, His Books, and His Messengers. Thus, if what they say is true, you have not denied it, and if it is false, you have not affirmed it.
Hadith 10430
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not ask the People of the Book about anything, for they will not guide you; they themselves have gone astray. In this way, you will either affirm falsehood or deny the truth. Indeed, the reality is that if Musa (peace be upon him) were to come alive among you, nothing would be lawful for him except that he follows me.
Hadith 10431
Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to narrate to us traditions about the Children of Israel for most of the night, and would stand only for the obligatory prayer.
