بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي فَضْلٍ مَرْيَمَ بِنْتِ عِمْرَانِ
Chapter: What has been reported regarding the virtue of Maryam bint Imran
Hadith 10411
عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ ((خَيْرُ نِسَائِهَا بِنْتُ عِمْرَانَ وَخَيْرُ نِسَائِهَا خَدِيجَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Sayyida Maryam bint Imran (peace be upon her) was the best among the women of her time, and Sayyida Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) was the best among the women of her era."
Hadith 10412
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ خَطَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَرْبَعَةَ خُطُوطٍ قَالَ ((تَدْرُونَ مَا هَذِهِ)) فَقَالُوا اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ((أَفْضَلُ نِسَاءِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ خَدِيجَةُ بِنْتُ خُوَيْلِدٍ وَفَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَآسِيَةُ بِنْتُ مُزَاحِمٍ امْرَأَةُ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَرْيَمُ بِنْتُ عِمْرَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُنَّ))
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) drew four lines on the ground, then asked: Do you know about these lines? They said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The most virtuous women of Paradise are these four: Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, Fatimah bint Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), Asiyah bint Muzahim, the wife of Pharaoh, and Maryam bint Imran.
Hadith 10413
عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ((حَسْبُكَ مِنْ نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِينَ ابْنَةُ عِمْرَانَ وَخَدِيجَةُ بِنْتُ خُوَيْلِدٍ وَفَاطِمَةُ ابْنَةُ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَآسِيَةُ امْرَأَةُ فِرْعَوْنَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُنَّ))
Narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Among the women of the worlds, these women are sufficient for you: Maryam bint Imran, Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, Fatimah bint Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and Asiyah, the wife of Pharaoh.
Hadith 10414
عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ((الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ سَيِّدَا شَبَابِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَفَاطِمَةُ سَيِّدَةُ نِسَائِهِمْ إِلَّا مَا كَانَ لِمَرْيَمَ بِنْتِ عِمْرَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا))
Syedna Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Hasan and Husain (may Allah be pleased with them both) will be the leaders of the youth of Paradise, and Fatimah will be the leader of the women of Paradise, except for Maryam bint Imran.
