Syedna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No person should curse time, for Allah Almighty is time; and no person should call grapes "karam," for "karam" is a Muslim person.

(Second chain) The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Allah Almighty says: The son of Adam hurts Me; he says: "O misfortune of time!" while I am Time; I alternate the day and the night, and if I wish, I can seize them both.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not speak ill of the wind, for its origin is from Allah Almighty. So when you see something undesirable in the wind, recite this supplication: "O Allah! Indeed, we ask You for the goodness of this wind, the goodness within it, and the goodness with which it has been sent, and we seek refuge in You from the evil of this wind, the evil within it, and the evil with which it has been sent."
