Hadith 10024
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) disliked these ten things: (1) a gold ring, (2) dragging the lower garment, (3) saffron, i.e., perfume of khuluq, (4) removing white hair, i.e., plucking them out, (5) ejaculating semen away from its place, i.e., practicing coitus interruptus, (6) performing incantations other than the Mu'awwidhat, (7) causing corruption in a child, but he did not declare this act as forbidden, (8) hanging amulets, (9) a woman adorning herself at an inappropriate time, and (10) striking the pieces in the game of backgammon.
Hadith 10025
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu’adh (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) advised me regarding ten matters, saying: Do not associate anything with Allah, even if you are killed and burned; never disobey your parents, even if they command you to leave your family and wealth; never deliberately abandon the obligatory prayer, for whoever deliberately abandons the obligatory prayer, the protection of Allah is lifted from him; never drink alcohol, for it is the root of all indecency; avoid disobedience, for due to disobedience the wrath of Allah descends; avoid fleeing on the day of battle, even if people are dying; when people are afflicted with widespread death and you are among them, remain steadfast; spend on your family according to your means; do not keep your stick away from them for the sake of teaching them discipline, and instill in them the fear of Allah.

Abu Husayn says: My companion reached the mosque before me, then when I reached the mosque, I sat beside him. He asked me: Have you heard the stories of Sayyiduna Abu Rayhanah (may Allah be pleased with him)? I said: No. He said: I have heard, he was saying that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade these ten things: filing the teeth, tattooing, plucking hair, a man lying with a man without clothes, likewise a woman lying with a woman without clothes, a man wearing his lower garment and draping his shoulders with (silk) like the non-Arabs, highway robbery, making saddles etc. from the skins of leopards and riding on them, and anyone other than a government official wearing a ring.
