Hadith 10022
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed these people: the one who consumes usury, the one who gives usury, its two witnesses, the one who writes it, the one who tattoos for beauty and the one who gets tattooed, the one who does not give zakat, the one who performs halalah and the one for whom halalah is performed. Also, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade wailing.
Hadith 10023
Imam Sha'bi narrates that Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), cursed these individuals: the one who consumes usury, the one who gives it, the one who writes its contract, and its witness; the one who tattoos, the one who gets tattooed, the one who performs halalah, the one for whom halalah is performed, the one who withholds zakat. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade wailing. The narrator did not use the word "curse" for wailing. Ibn Awn asked: Is it permissible to get tattooed due to illness? Imam Sha'bi said: Yes.
