Abu Hariz says: Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) addressed the people in Homs and mentioned this as well: Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) declared seven things to be forbidden. I convey his message to you and also prohibit you from them: wailing, reciting poetry, making images, a woman adorning herself before someone other than her husband, the skins of predatory animals, gold, and silk.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sought refuge from seven kinds of death: sudden death, snake bite, predatory animal, drowning, burning, falling from something, something falling upon him (peace and blessings be upon him), and being killed while fleeing from battle.
