Hadith 9995
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Whoever possesses four traits will be a hypocrite, and whoever has one of these four traits will have a trait of hypocrisy until he gives it up: when he speaks, he lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; when he makes a pact, he betrays it; and when he quarrels, he abuses.
Hadith 9996
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Four things are from the matters of ignorance, and people will never abandon them: (1) criticizing lineage, (2) wailing over the dead, (3) dealing with the stars, and (4) saying that a camel got scabies, so it gave scabies to all the others—tell me, who gave scabies to the first one?
Hadith 9997
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Hearts are of four types: (1) A pure and clean heart, which is bright like a lamp; (2) A heart enclosed in a covering, from which the covering can never be removed; (3) An inverted heart; and (4) A double-faced heart. Their details are as follows: The pure heart refers to the heart of a believer, its lamp is its light; the heart enclosed in a covering belongs to a disbeliever; the inverted heart is that of a hypocrite who, after attaining the knowledge of truth, denies it; and the double-faced heart is the one in which there is both faith and hypocrisy. In it, the example of faith is like that of a green plant, which is nourished by pure water, and the example of hypocrisy is like that of a boil, which grows due to pus and blood. Whichever of the two increases more, that one prevails.
Hadith 9998
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I heard four things from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), which amazed and astonished me: (1) The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade a woman from traveling a distance of two days unless her husband or a mahram is with her; (2) The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade prayer at two times: after the Fajr prayer until the sun rises, and after the Asr prayer until the sun sets; (3) The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade fasting on the two days of Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr; and (4) The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said that mounts should not be saddled except for three mosques: Masjid al-Haram, Masjid al-Aqsa, and this Masjid of mine (Masjid al-Nabawi).
Hadith 9999
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Malik Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Four practices of the Age of Ignorance will not be abandoned: boasting about one's lineage, slandering others' ancestry, seeking rain through the stars, and wailing over the dead. If a woman who wails does not repent before her death, she will be raised on the Day of Resurrection in a state that she will be wearing a garment of sulphur or a shirt of scabs.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to seek refuge from four things: from the punishment of Hell, from the punishment of the grave, from the trials of life and death, and from the trial of Dajjal.
