Hadith 9923
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ جِدَالٌ فِي الْقُرْآنِ كُفْرٌ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Disputing about the Qur'an is disbelief.
Hadith 9924
عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا ضَلَّ قَوْمٌ بَعْدَ هُدًى كَانُوا عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا أُوتُوا الْجَدَلَ ثُمَّ تَلَا هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ {مَا ضَرَبُوهُ لَكَ إِلَّا جَدَلًا بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ خَصِمُونَ} [الزخرف: 58]
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No people go astray after having been guided except that they begin to argue. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: And they said, "Are our gods better, or is he?" They did not say this to you except for the sake of argument. In fact, they are a quarrelsome people. (Surah Az-Zukhruf: 58)
Hadith 9925
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يُؤْمِنُ الْعَبْدُ الْإِيمَانَ كُلَّهُ حَتَّى يَتْرُكَ الْكَذِبَ مِنَ الْمُزَاحَةِ وَيَتْرُكَ الْمِرَاءَ وَإِنْ كَانَ صَادِقًا
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A person cannot attain perfect faith until he gives up lying in jest and quarreling. Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A person cannot attain perfect faith until he gives up lying in jest and quarreling.
Hadith 9926
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ أَبْغَضَ الرِّجَالِ إِلَى اللَّهِ الْأَلَدُّ الْخَصِمُ
Narrated by Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Among the people, the most disliked person in the sight of Allah Almighty is the one who is extremely quarrelsome.
