It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Whoever remained silent, attained salvation.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should honor his guest; whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not harm his neighbor; and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak good or remain silent.
