It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, every deceiver will have a flag. It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, a flag will be raised for the deceiver, and it will be announced: This is the deception of so-and-so, son of so-and-so.
Hadith 9756
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), he says: I was near the chamber of Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) when I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: On the Day of Resurrection, a flag will be set up for every deceiver, and there is no deception greater than the deception committed with the great Imam.
Hadith 9757
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The guarantee (protection) of all Muslims is one; even the lowest among Muslims can give this guarantee. Whoever breaks the covenant of a Muslim, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people, and on the Day of Resurrection, Allah will not accept from him any obligatory or voluntary worship.
Hadith 9758
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: Whenever the Noble Prophet addressed us, he used to say in it: That person has no faith who has no trustworthiness, and that person has no religion who does not keep his promises and covenants.
Hadith 9759
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amr bin Abasah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a Muslim nation has a treaty with another nation, it should neither extend and strengthen it further nor break it, until its term expires or both parties mutually annul it equally.
Hadith 9760
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Whoever makes a condition with his brother, while he does not intend to fulfill it, is like a man who hands over his brother to such a neighboring (nation) who have no power (to protect themselves from the enemy).
Hadith 9761
It is narrated from Hasan that a man came to Sayyiduna Zubair bin Al-Awwam (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: Shall I kill Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) for you? He replied: How will you kill him when he has armies with him? The man said: I will apparently join him, and then, finding him unaware, I will kill him. He said: No, do not do that, because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Faith prevents killing after granting protection; a believer does not kill after granting protection.
Hadith 9762
Narrated from Sayyiduna Muawiyah bin Abu Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Faith prevents killing after granting protection.
Hadith 9763
Abu Rifa’ah Bijli says: I went to Mukhtar bin Abi Ubaid in his palace, and I heard him saying: Before this, Jibreel had never stood up except from my presence. Upon hearing this, I intended to strike off his neck, but then I remembered a hadith. Sayyiduna Sulaiman bin Surad (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a man entrusts you with his life, then you must not kill him. Mukhtar had also entrusted me with his life, so I considered it disliked to kill him.
Hadith 9764
It is narrated from Rifaa Qutbani, he says: I went to Mukhtar, he placed a cushion for me and said: If my brother Jibreel had not stood up from it, I would have kept it for you. Hearing this, I intended to kill him, but then I remembered a hadith. My brother Sayyiduna Amr bin Humaq (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If a believer entrusts another believer with his life and then kills him, I am free from the killer.
Hadith 9765
. (Second chain) I used to guard Mukhtar. When I recognized that he was a liar, I intended to draw my sword and strike his neck, but then I remembered a hadith. Sayyiduna Amr bin Hamiq (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever grants a man safety for his life, but then kills him, a banner of treachery will be given to him on the Day of Resurrection.
