Hadith 9683
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Abusing one’s parents is among the major sins. The people asked: How can a man abuse his own parents? He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: He abuses someone’s father, so that person abuses his father in return; he abuses someone’s mother, so that person abuses his mother in return. Sufyan narrated this hadith as marfu‘ and Mis‘ar narrated it as mawquf.
Hadith 9684
(Second chain) The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Indeed, disobedience to parents is the greatest of the major sins. Someone asked: What is meant by disobedience to parents? He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: A man abuses another man, and in retaliation, the latter abuses his father; and he insults his mother, and in response, the latter insults his mother.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: One who persists in drinking alcohol, one who is disobedient to his parents, and one who reminds others of his favors will not enter the pure garden, that is, Paradise.

Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The one who is disobedient to parents, the one who habitually drinks alcohol, and the one who denies destiny will not enter Paradise.
Hadith 9688
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu’adh bin Anas al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, there are some servants of Allah Almighty whom Allah will neither speak to on the Day of Resurrection, nor purify them, nor look at them. Someone asked: O Messenger of Allah! Who are these people? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The one who disassociates himself from his parents, shows indifference towards them, the one who disassociates himself from his children, and the person upon whom a people have bestowed a favor, but he is ungrateful for their favor and disassociates himself from them.
