Hadith 9660
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that someone said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): "Do you not have a sense of honor (ghayrah)?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "By Allah! Indeed, I have a sense of honor, and Allah is more possessive of honor than I am. And it is due to His sense of honor that He has forbidden indecent acts and immoralities."
Hadith 9661
(Second chain) The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The believer also feels protective jealousy, and Allah Almighty also feels protective jealousy, and it is the demand of Allah Almighty’s protective jealousy that the believer should not do that which Allah Almighty has declared unlawful.
Hadith 9662
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A believer feels jealousy, a believer feels jealousy, but Allah Almighty is the most jealous of all.
Hadith 9663
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Sa’d bin ‘Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: If I see a man with my wife, I will strike him with the sharp edge of my sword. When this statement reached the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: Are you amazed at Sa’d’s sense of honor? By Allah! I am more possessive than him, and Allah is more possessive than me. And it is because of this that Allah has forbidden all kinds of outward and inward indecencies and immoralities. There is none who loves to accept excuses more than Allah, and for this reason, Allah sent messengers as bearers of glad tidings and as warners. And there is none who loves to be praised more than Allah, and for this reason, Allah has promised Paradise.
Hadith 9664
. (Second chain) Ubaidullah Qawariyri says: This hadith is the harshest against the Jahmiyyah: There is no one to whom praise is more beloved than Allah Almighty.
Hadith 9665
It is narrated from Sayyida Asma bint Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say that no one is more protective (possesses more honor) than Allah Almighty.
Hadith 9666
Narrated from Sayyida Zainab bint Jahsh (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) woke up from sleep, while his face was red, and he was saying: "There is no god but Allah. Woe to the Arabs because of the evil that has drawn near. Today, a hole as big as this has been opened in the wall of Gog and Magog." And he (peace and blessings be upon him) made a circle with his fingers to show it. I said: "O Messenger of Allah! Will we be destroyed while there are righteous people among us?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, when evil becomes widespread."
Hadith 9667
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When evil becomes manifest in the land, Allah Almighty will send His punishment upon the people of the earth. Sayyida (Aisha) said: Even though there are people among them who obey Allah Almighty? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Yes, but then they will be transferred to the mercy of Allah Almighty.
Hadith 9668
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who gives it, its two witnesses, the one who writes it, the one who fills sesame, the one for whom sesame is filled, the one who performs halalah, the one for whom halalah is performed, and the one who withholds charity or zakat. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to prohibit wailing as well.

Narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub Fazari (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say to his companions among the things he would instruct: “Has any of you seen a dream?” Then, according to Allah’s will, those who had seen would narrate. One morning, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said to us: “Last night, two angels came to me. They woke me up and said: ‘Come.’ So I went with them. We came to a man who was lying down, and another man was standing over him with a large stone. He would strike his head with the stone, crushing it. The stone would roll away, and when he went to retrieve it and returned, the man’s head would be restored as before. Then he would do to him what he had done the first time. I said: ‘Glory be to Allah! Who are these two?’ They said to me: ‘Move on, move on.’ So I went with them.
Then we came to a man lying on his back, and another person was standing over him with an iron hook. He would come to one side of his face and tear his mouth, nostrils, and eyes up to the back of his head. Then he would go to the other side of his face and do the same. Meanwhile, the first side would be restored as before. Then he would return to it and tear it again as he had done the first time. I said: ‘Glory be to Allah! Who are these two?’ They said: ‘Move on, move on.’ So I went with them.
Then we reached something like a furnace, in which there was noise and voices. I looked into it and saw naked men and women. Flames of fire would rise from beneath them, and they would scream and cry out. I said to them: ‘Who are these people?’ They said: ‘Move on, move on.’ So we moved on and came to a river, the color of which was red like blood. In it, a man was swimming, and as he swam, he would come to another man who had collected stones. When he reached him, he would open his mouth, and the other would throw a stone into it. Then he would start swimming again, and whenever he returned, he would open his mouth, and the other would throw a stone into it. I said: ‘What is this?’ They said to me: ‘Move on, move on.’ So we moved on and came to a man of the most hideous appearance. If you were to see him, you would find him the most repulsive in appearance. He had a fire with him, which he was kindling and running around it. I said to them: ‘What is this?’ They said to me: ‘Move on, move on.’
So we moved on and reached a beautiful garden with green grass, in which were flowers of every color of spring. In the middle of the garden stood a man so tall that I could hardly see his head because of his height. Around him were many beautiful and handsome children. I said to them: ‘Who is this, and who are these?’ They said: ‘Move on, move on.’ So we moved on and came to a large and expansive tree, very big and beautiful. They said to me: ‘Climb it.’ So we climbed it and reached a city, one brick of which was gold and one was silver. We went to the gate of the city and asked for it to be opened. So it was opened for us, and we entered. Among the people there, some were very beautiful and some were ugly. Then the two said to them: ‘Go and fall into that river.’ It was a small, flowing, extremely white river. So they went and entered the river, and when they returned, their ugliness had disappeared, and they had become completely beautiful.
Then the two said to me: ‘This is the Garden of Eden, and this is your place.’ Then I looked up and saw a palace like a white cloud. They said to me: ‘This is your place.’ I said to them: ‘May Allah bless you, let me enter it.’ But they said: ‘Not now, but you will surely enter it.’ Then I said to them: ‘Tonight I have seen very strange things. Now tell me, what were these things?’ They said: ‘Now we will tell you. The man whose head was being crushed was a person who learned the Qur’an and then abandoned it and slept through the obligatory prayers. The man whose mouth, eyes, and nostrils were being torn to the back of his head was one who lied in his house, and his lie would reach the horizons of the world. The naked men and women you saw in something like a well were adulterers. The man swimming in the river and having stones thrown into his mouth was a usurer. The hideous man kindling the fire was the keeper of Hell, his name is Malik. The tall man in the garden was Ibrahim (peace be upon him), and the children around him were those who died upon the natural disposition (fitrah). At that time, some Muslims said: ‘O Messenger of Allah! Were there also the children of the polytheists among them?’ He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘Yes, the children of the polytheists were also among them.’ The people, some of whom were beautiful and some ugly, were those who had done both good and bad deeds, but Allah had forgiven them.”

(Second chain of narration) When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would perform the Fajr prayer and turn his face towards us, he would say: "Has any of you seen a dream?" If anyone had seen a dream, he would narrate it. On that day, we said: "No, we have not seen any dream." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I have seen a dream today. Two men came to me, they took hold of my hand and led me to an open and level land. Then they made me pass by a man, ..." The narrator narrated a hadith similar to the previous one, except that in this one it is mentioned: "So I went with them and saw a house built in the design of a furnace, its upper part was narrow and its lower part was open. A fire was being kindled beneath it. There were naked men and women inside it. When the fire was kindled beneath them, they would rise so high that it seemed they would almost come out, but when the fire subsided, they would return to the bottom." Further in this narration it is mentioned: "Then I proceeded and saw a river of blood, in which there was a man, and on the bank of the river there was a person, and in front of him were stones. When the man in the river tried to come out and was about to do so, the person on the bank would throw a stone at his mouth, causing him to return to his place." Further in it is mentioned: "Then I went ahead and saw a lush garden, in it was a large tree, at its trunk was an elderly man and around him were children, and near them was a man, in front of him was a fire, and he was kindling it. Both of them took me up the tree and made me enter a house, it was a very beautiful house, in it were elderly people, youth, women, and children. Then they took me out from there, made me climb the tree further, and entered me into a house which was more beautiful and better than the first house, and in it also were elderly people and children." Then I was told: "The house you first entered is the house of the common believers, and the second is the house of the martyrs. And I am Jibreel, and this is Mikaeel." Then they said to me: "Raise your head." So I raised my head and saw something like clouds. Then they said to me: "And that is your house." I said to them: "Then let me enter my house." But they said: "No, there are still some deeds remaining upon you, which you have not yet completed. If you had completed them, you would have entered your house."
Hadith 9671
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If a person performs a deed inside a solid rock, which has neither a door nor a window, even then his deed will come out for the people, whatever kind it may be.
Hadith 9672
Ali bin Khalid says that Abu Umamah Bahili (may Allah be pleased with him) passed by Khalid bin Yazid bin Muawiyah. He asked him about the gentlest words he had heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Every one of you will enter Paradise, except the one who rebelled against Allah in the way a camel bolts from its owner.
Hadith 9673
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The wretched one will not enter Paradise. Someone asked: Who is the wretched one? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The one who neither performs any act of obedience nor refrains from any act of disobedience for the sake of Allah Almighty.
Hadith 9674
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a thief steals, he is not a believer; when an adulterer commits adultery, he is not a believer; when a person drinks alcohol, he is not a believer; when a person betrays, he is not a believer; and when a person commits robbery, he is not a believer. The words of the narrator ‘Ata are: Whoever commits robbery openly among people, he is not a believer. When Bahz, the narrator, was asked about the meaning of this hadith, he said: Faith is taken away from such a person, then if he repents, Allah Almighty accepts his repentance.
Hadith 9675
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned the major sins, or he was asked about them. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Associating partners with Allah, killing a soul, and disobeying parents. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Shall I not inform you of the greatest of sins? Then he said: It is false speech. Or he said: It is false testimony. Imam Shu’bah says: The predominant opinion is that he (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned false testimony.
Hadith 9676
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: We were sitting with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Shall I not inform you about the greatest of the major sins? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said this three times, and that is associating partners with Allah Almighty. The narrator says: The mention of major sins was made in the presence of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Associating partners with Allah Almighty and disobedience to parents. He (peace and blessings be upon him) was reclining, then he sat up and began to say: And false testimony, false testimony, false testimony, or he said: False speech and false testimony. He (peace and blessings be upon him) repeated this phrase so many times that we said: Would that he (peace and blessings be upon him) would now remain silent.
Hadith 9677
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Anis Juhani, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Associating partners with Allah, disobedience to parents, and false oaths are among the gravest sins. Whoever swears a false oath in the name of Allah and introduces even as much falsehood as the wing of a mosquito into it, Allah Almighty will mark that evil as a spot upon his heart until the Day of Resurrection.
Hadith 9678
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever comes (to Allah) in such a state that he has not associated anyone with Allah, established prayer, paid zakat, fasted in Ramadan, and avoided major sins, then Paradise will be for him. Then the people asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the major sins, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Associating partners with Allah, killing a Muslim soul, and fleeing on the day of battle.
Hadith 9679
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked: Which sin is the greatest? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: That you associate a partner with Allah, while He created you. He asked: Then which one? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: Then that you kill your child out of fear that he will eat with you. He asked: Then which one is it? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: Then that you commit adultery with your neighbor’s wife. So Allah Almighty confirmed these matters in His Book with these words: And those who do not call upon any other god along with Allah, nor kill a soul which Allah has forbidden except by right, nor commit adultery—and whoever does this shall meet a severe penalty. (: Surah Al-Furqan: 68)
Hadith 9680
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Major sins are these: associating partners with Allah Almighty, disobedience to parents, killing a soul, and false oath. Imam Shu’bah was in doubt.
Hadith 9681
Sayyiduna Salamah bin Qais Ashja'i (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said during the Farewell Pilgrimage: Beware! There are only four things: That you do not associate partners with Allah, do not kill a soul which Allah has forbidden except with due right, do not commit adultery, and do not steal. Then Sayyiduna Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I am the most eager regarding them, because I myself heard them from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
Hadith 9682
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Beware of oppression! For oppression will be (many) darknesses on the Day of Resurrection. Avoid foul speech, for indeed Allah Almighty does not like abusive and obscene language. And beware of intense love for wealth! For this very thing destroyed those before you; it commanded them to sever ties of kinship, so they severed them; it incited them to miserliness, so they became miserly; and it commanded them to commit evil, so they committed evil. A man stood up and said: Which Islam is best? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: That other Muslims are safe from your tongue and your hand.
