Hadith 9602
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, who says: I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Tell me about such a command that if I act upon it, I will enter Paradise." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Spread peace, feed (others), maintain ties of kinship, and stand (in prayer) at night when people are sleeping, and then enter Paradise in peace."
Hadith 9603
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a person performs istinja (cleansing) with stones, he should use an odd number of stones. When a dog puts its mouth into someone's vessel, he should wash it seven times. No person should prevent others from excess water in order to save grass, and the right of camels is that they be milked on the day they come to the water trough.
Hadith 9604
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever applies kohl, let him apply it in odd numbers; whoever does so has done a good deed, and whoever does not, there is no harm upon him. Whoever performs istinja (cleansing) with stones, let him use an odd number of stones; whoever does so has done a good deed, and whoever does not, there is no harm upon him. Similarly, whoever, after eating, removes food particles from his teeth, let him throw them away, and if he gathers food particles in his mouth with his tongue, let him swallow them; whoever does so has done a good deed, and whoever does not, there is no harm upon him. Whoever comes to relieve himself, let him cover himself; if he finds nothing to cover himself with, let him make a heap and turn his back towards it, for Satan plays with the private parts of the children of Adam; whoever does so has done a good deed, and whoever does not, there is no harm upon him.
Hadith 9605
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no shighar in Islam, there is no mu‘ahada in Islam, and there is neither jalab nor janab.
Hadith 9606
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Close your doors, cover your vessels, extinguish your lamps, and tie up your water-skins, for Satan neither opens a closed door, nor lifts a cover from a vessel, nor unties the string of a water-skin. And a mouse can burn down the house along with its inhabitants.
Hadith 9607
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her: Whoever is granted gentleness, has been bestowed with goodness and well-being of this world and the Hereafter. And acts of goodness such as maintaining family ties, good character, and treating neighbors well, populate homes (and tribes) and increase lifespans.
Hadith 9608
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever takes up residence in the wilderness becomes hard-hearted; whoever pursues hunting becomes heedless; whoever comes to the door of the king falls into tribulation; and the closer a person gets to the king, the farther he becomes from Allah Almighty.
Hadith 9609
It is narrated from a son of Rafi’ bin Makith, who was also present at Hudaybiyyah, that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Good character is increase and growth, bad character is misfortune, virtue increases lifespan, and charity saves from an evil death.
Hadith 9610
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever seeks refuge by invoking Allah, grant him refuge; whoever asks you in the name of Allah, give to him; whoever invites you, accept his invitation; and whoever does a good deed to you, repay him. If you do not have anything to repay him with, then pray for him so much that you feel you have repaid him.
