Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir al-Juhani, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: There are two types of jealousy; Allah Almighty likes one and dislikes the other. Similarly, there are two types of pride; Allah Almighty likes one type of pride and dislikes the other. The jealousy that arises due to doubt and accusation is liked by Allah Almighty, and the other forms of jealousy are disliked by Him. The pride shown at the time of giving charity is liked by Allah Almighty, and the pride of arrogance is disliked by Allah Almighty.
