Hadith 9454
Syedna Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The lofty chambers in Paradise for those who love each other for the sake of Allah will appear like a star rising in the east or west. When it will be asked, "Who are these people?" it will be answered, "These are those who loved each other for the sake of Allah, the Exalted."
Hadith 9455
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Irbad bin Sariyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty said: Those who love each other for the sake of My Majesty will be under the shade of My Throne on the Day when there will be no shade except My shade.
Hadith 9456
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever loves a servant for the sake of Allah Almighty, in fact, honors Allah Almighty.
Hadith 9457
Narrated by Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A believer is one who is friendly and with whom others feel comfortable, and there is no good in a person who is neither friendly with others nor do others feel comfortable with him.
Hadith 9458
It is narrated from Abu Muslim Khaulani, he says: I went to the mosque of Homs, in which thirty noble companions were present. Among them was a young man whose eyes were lined with kohl and whose teeth were shining. In another narration, it is mentioned: his face was beautiful, his eyes were black and wide, and his teeth were shining. He was sitting silently. When any disagreement arose among the people, they would ask that young man. I asked the one sitting next to me: Who is this young man? He said: This is Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him). Great love for him developed in my heart. Then I remained with those people until they dispersed. Then I quickly went to the mosque and saw that Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal was standing by a pillar, performing prayer. Then he remained silent and did not speak to me. I also prayed and sat down, wrapping myself in my cloak. Then he also finished and sat down, and did not speak to me. I also remained silent and did not speak to him. Then I said: By Allah! I love you. He said: Why do you love me? I said: For the sake of Allah, the Exalted. So he took hold of the edge of my cloak and pulled it slightly towards himself and then said: If you are truthful in your statement, then rejoice! I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Those who love each other for My Majesty will have pulpits of light, such that the Prophets and martyrs will envy them. In another narration: They will be under the shade of Allah on the Day when there will be no other shade. In another narration: Chairs of light will be set for them and the gathering they will have near Allah, the Prophets, the truthful, and the martyrs will envy it. Then I left from there and met Sayyiduna Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: O Abu Walid! Shall I narrate to you the hadith about those who love each other, which Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to me? He said: I will narrate to you a hadith from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), which he narrated from Allah, the Exalted. Allah, the Exalted, said: My love is established for those who love each other for My sake; My love is established for those who visit each other for My sake; My love is established for those who spend on each other for My sake; and My love is established for those who maintain ties of kinship for My sake.
Hadith 9459
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Malik Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O people! Listen, understand, and know that there are some servants of Allah who are neither prophets nor martyrs, but the martyrs and prophets will envy them because of their closeness to Allah and their gathering with Him. A Bedouin from among the distant people came and extended his hand towards the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! There are such people who are neither prophets nor martyrs, but the prophets and martyrs will envy their gatherings and their closeness to Allah. Describe their qualities for us and make them clear. At the Bedouin's question, signs of happiness appeared on the face of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said: They are people of unknown lineage from unfamiliar tribes, there are no family relations among them, they love one another for the sake of Allah and maintain pure relationships among themselves. On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will make pulpits of light for them, seat them upon them, and make their faces and garments light. People will be afraid on the Day of Resurrection, but they will not be afraid. These are the friends (awliya) of Allah, about whom (according to the Divine command): "There will be no fear upon them, nor will they grieve."
