Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When Allah Almighty loves a servant, He says: O Jibreel! I love so-and-so, so you also love him. Then Jibreel announces in the heavens that Allah Almighty loves so-and-so, so you also love him. Then his love is placed among the people of the earth and they begin to love him. Similarly, when Allah Almighty dislikes a servant, He says: O Jibreel! I dislike so-and-so, so you also dislike him. Then Jibreel announces in the heavens that indeed Allah Almighty dislikes so-and-so, so you also dislike him. Then his dislike is placed among the people of the earth and they also begin to dislike him.
(Second chain) The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Indeed, when Allah Almighty loves a servant, He says to Jibreel (Gabriel), peace be upon him: Verily, I love such-and-such a person, so you also love him. Then Jibreel, peace be upon him, says to the inhabitants of the heavens: Verily, your Lord loves such-and-such a person, so you also love him. Thus, the inhabitants of the heavens also begin to love him, and then that person becomes accepted on the earth as well. And when Allah Almighty dislikes a person, the same kind of matter occurs with him.
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When Allah Almighty is pleased with a servant, He praises him for seven kinds of good, which he has not yet performed. Similarly, when He is displeased with a servant, He condemns him for seven kinds of evil, which he has not yet committed.
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, love and fame descend from Allah Almighty from the sky. Its detail is that when Allah Almighty loves a person, He says to Jibreel (peace be upon him): I love such-and-such person. So Jibreel (peace be upon him) announces that Allah Almighty loves such-and-such person, therefore all of you should love him. Then his love descends upon the earth as well. Similarly, when Allah Almighty dislikes a person, He says to Jibreel (peace be upon him): Indeed, I dislike such-and-such person, so you also dislike him. Then Jibreel (peace be upon him) announces that indeed your Lord dislikes such-and-such person, therefore you all should dislike him. Then dislike for him is also sent down upon the earth.
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a child was lying on the road, and the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by there, while his companions were also with him. When the mother of this child saw the people, she became afraid that the child might be trampled. So she ran, saying, "My son, my son," and then picked him up. The people said: "O Messenger of Allah! This mother would never throw her child into the fire." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This woman would not throw her son into the fire, and Allah Almighty will also not throw His beloved into the fire."
