Hadith 9232
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Adhere to truthfulness, for indeed truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. And a servant continues to speak the truth until he is written with Allah as a truthful one (Siddiq).
Hadith 9233
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! What are the deeds of Paradise? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Truthfulness. When a servant speaks the truth, he does good; when he does good, he becomes a believer; and when he becomes a believer, he enters Paradise. The people said: O Messenger of Allah! What are the deeds of the Fire? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Falsehood. When a servant lies, he does evil; when he does evil, he becomes a disbeliever; and when he becomes a disbeliever, he enters the Fire.
Hadith 9234
Alqamah bin Abdullah Muzani narrates from some of the noble Companions that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever believes in Allah Almighty and the Last Day should fear Allah Almighty and speak the truth, or else remain silent.
Hadith 9235
A man from the people of Makkah named Yusuf says: I and a man from the Quraysh were guardians of some orphans’ wealth. It happened that a man (acting dishonestly) took one thousand dirhams from me, then one thousand dirhams of his came into my hands. I said to the Qurayshi: That person took one thousand dirhams of mine, now his one thousand dirhams have come to me, so should I keep this amount? He said: My father narrated that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When someone makes you a trustee, then return his trust to him and do not betray him, even if he has betrayed you.
Hadith 9236
Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever hears something from a man, and that man does not want that thing to be mentioned with reference to him, then that thing is a trust, even if the speaker does not instruct to keep it secret.
