Hadith 9191
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ رَفِيقٌ يُحِبُّ الرِّفْقَ وَيُعْطِي عَلَى الرِّفْقِ مَا لَا يُعْطِي عَلَى الْعُنْفِ
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mughaffal (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Verily, Allah Almighty is gentle and loves gentleness, and because of gentleness He grants that which He does not grant due to harshness and severity.
Hadith 9192
عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلُهُ
Sayyiduna Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated a similar hadith of the Prophet.
Hadith 9193
عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ يُحْرَمِ الرِّفْقَ يُحْرَمِ الْخَيْرَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever is deprived of gentleness is deprived of goodness.
Hadith 9194
عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ الْحَارِثِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا هَلْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَبْدُو قَالَتْ نَعَمْ كَانَ يَبْدُو إِلَى هَذِهِ التِّلَاعِ فَأَرَادَ الْبَدَاوَةَ مَرَّةً فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى نَعَمٍ مِنْ إِبِلِ الصَّدَقَةِ فَأَعْطَانِي مِنْهَا نَاقَةً مُحَرَّمَةً ثُمَّ قَالَ لِي يَا عَائِشَةُ عَلَيْكِ بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَالرِّفْقِ فَإِنَّ الرِّفْقَ لَمْ يَكُ فِي شَيْءٍ قَطُّ إِلَّا زَانَهُ وَلَمْ يُنْزَعْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا شَانَهُ
Miqdam bin Shuraih narrates from his father, who says: I asked Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about desert life. She said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to go to these sand dunes. Once, when he intended to live in the desert, he sent me a she-camel from the camels of charity, which had not yet been ridden, and said: Aisha! Fear Allah and be gentle, because whatever gentleness is found in, it adorns it, and whatever gentleness is taken away from, it makes it defective.
Hadith 9195
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِأَهْلِ بَيْتٍ خَيْرًا أَدْخَلَ عَلَيْهِمِ الرِّفْقَ
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When Allah Almighty intends goodness and prosperity for the people of a household, He grants them the ability to be gentle.
Hadith 9196
وَعَنْهَا أَيْضًا قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ رَفَقَ بِأُمَّتِي فَارْفُقْ بِهِ وَمَنْ شَقَّ عَلَيْهِمْ فَشُقَّ عَلَيْهِ
It is also narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Allah! Whoever deals gently with my Ummah, be gentle with him, and whoever is harsh upon my Ummah, be harsh upon him.
