Hadith 8934
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا نَاصِحُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ أَبُو الْعَلَاءِ حَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارُ بْنُ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ سَمِعْتُ الْقَوَارِيرِيَّ يَقُولُ كُنْتُ أَمُرُّ بِنَاصِحٍ فَيُحَدِّثُنِي فَإِذَا سَأَلْتُهُ الزِّيَادَةَ قَالَ لَيْسَ عِنْدِي غَيْرُ ذَا وَكَانَ ضَرِيرًا
Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated this type of hadith from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), however, in this it is also mentioned: Ubaidullah Qawariyri says: I used to pass by Nasih bin Alaa and he would narrate hadiths to me, then when I asked him for more, he would say: I have nothing besides this. He was a blind man.
Hadith 8935
قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْإِمَامِ أَحْمَدَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ الْحَدَّادُ حَدَّثَنَا سُكَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَبْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْهَجَرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا عَالَ مَنِ اقْتَصَدَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever adopts moderation will not be in need.
Hadith 8936
عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مِنْ فِقْهِ الرَّجُلِ رِفْقُهُ فِي مَعِيشَتِهِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is a sign of a man's wisdom that he adopts gentleness, that is, moderation in livelihood.
