Hadith 8893
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Successful is the person who creates sincerity in his heart for faith, keeps his heart correct and sound, his tongue truthful, his soul steadfast (in righteous deeds), his way upright, his ear attentive, and his eye observant. The situation is such that the ear is a means (for the heart’s knowledge) and the eye preserves what the heart has memorized, and indeed, successful is the person who makes his heart one that remembers (Allah).
Hadith 8894
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Verily, Allah does not look at your appearances or your wealth, but He looks at your hearts and your deeds.
Hadith 8895
Abu Uthman says: This report reached me that Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Indeed, Allah Almighty grants His believing servant one million good deeds in exchange for a single good deed. Then it happened that I got the opportunity to perform Hajj or Umrah, so I went and met Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) and said to him: A hadith has reached me from you that you say the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, Allah Almighty grants His believing servant one million good deeds for a single good deed. He said: No, (I did not narrate this hadith), but I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: Indeed, Allah Almighty grants His servant twenty million good deeds. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: Allah Almighty increases that good deed and grants a great reward from Himself. Now, who is there who can estimate the greatness of that reward?
Hadith 8896
. (Second chain) A similar hadith is narrated, however, in this it is stated: Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, said: What has amazed you? By Allah, I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: Indeed, Allah Almighty increases one good deed up to twenty million times.
