Hadith 8881
Narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took my hand and showed me the moon as it was rising and said: Seek refuge with Allah from the evil of this darkener when its darkness spreads.
Hadith 8882
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was given a white mule as a gift. He (peace and blessings be upon him) rode it, and Sayyiduna Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him) was leading it. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: Recite. He said: O Messenger of Allah! What should I recite? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Recite {قُلْ أَ عُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ}. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this surah again, until he (Sayyiduna Uqbah, may Allah be pleased with him) had recited it. But when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw that I was not very pleased with this surah, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It seems you consider it insignificant; you have not recited a surah like this in prayer (i.e., this is an unparalleled surah to be recited in prayer).
Hadith 8883
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I clung to the blessed feet of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! Teach me Surah Hud and Surah Yusuf. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: O Uqbah! You have not recited any surah that is more beloved, eloquent, and fruitful to Allah Almighty than {قُلْ أَ عُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ}. Yazid, the narrator, says: Abu Imran would never abandon the recitation of this surah and would always recite it in the Maghrib prayer.
