Hadith 8825
عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُحِبُّ هَذِهِ السُّورَةَ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى [سورة الأعلى]
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) loved Surah Al-A'la.
Hadith 8826
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا قَرَأَ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى [سورة الأعلى: ١] قَالَ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّکَ الْاَعْلٰی}, he would say: Subhana Rabbiya al-A'la.
Hadith 8827
عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِيمِ [سورة الواقعة: ٧٤] قَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ اجْعَلُوهَا فِي رُكُوعِكُمْ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى [سورة الأعلى: ١] قَالَ اجْعَلُوهَا فِي سُجُودِكُمْ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when this verse was revealed: {فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّکَ الْعَظِیْمِ} … "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most Great," the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us to adopt its meaning for our bowing (ruku‘). And when this verse was revealed: {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّکَ الْاَعْلٰی} … "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High," he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Adopt its meaning for your prostrations (sajdah).
