Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that we were sitting with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when Surah Al-Jumu’ah was revealed to him. When he recited this verse: {وَآخَرِینَمِنْہُمْلَمَّایَلْحَقُوابِہِمْ} … “and among others of them who have not yet joined them.” Someone asked: O Messenger of Allah! Who are those people meant by this? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not reply, but when he repeated the question once, twice, or three times, and among us was Sayyiduna Salman al-Farsi (may Allah be pleased with him), the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) placed his hand on his shoulder and said: If faith were near the Pleiades, even then a man from his people would attain it from there.
