Hadith 8780
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when this verse was revealed: {فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّکَ الْعَظِیْمِ} … "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most Great," the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us to adopt its meaning for our bowing (ruku). And when this verse was revealed: {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّکَ الْاَعْلٰی} … "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High," he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Adopt its meaning for your prostrations (sajdah).
