Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Darda’ (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reciting this verse on the pulpit: {وَلِمَنْخَافَمَقَامَرَبِّہِجَنَّتَانِ} … Whoever fears standing before his Lord, for him there are two gardens. I said: O Messenger of Allah! Even if he commits adultery and theft? The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited the same verse again. I again said: O Messenger of Allah! Even if he commits adultery and theft? You (peace and blessings be upon him) recited the same verse for the third time: {وَلِمَنْخَافَمَقَامَرَبِّہِجَنَّتَانِ}, but I also said for the third time: O Messenger of Allah! Even if he commits adultery and theft? This time you (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Yes! Even if Abu Darda’s nose becomes dust-covered.
