Hadith 8703
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: {تَتَجَافٰی جُنُوْبُہُمْ عَنِ الْمَضَاجِعِ یَدْعُوْنَ رَبَّہُمْ خَوْفًا وَّطَمَعًا ْ وَّمِمَّا رَزَقْنٰہُمْ یُنْفِقُوْنَ۔} … Their sides forsake their beds, they call upon their Lord in fear and hope, and they spend out of what We have given them. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: This refers to the servant standing (in prayer) at night.
