Hadith 8670
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubayy ibn Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would supplicate for someone, he would begin the supplication with himself. One day, he mentioned the person of Musa (peace be upon him) and said: May Allah have mercy on us and on Musa (peace be upon him). If he had been patient, Allah would have granted us more information, but he set this condition: {إِنْ سَأَ لْتُکَ عَنْ شَیْئٍ بَعْدَہَا فَلَا تُصَاحِبْنِی، قَدْ بَلَغْتَ مِنْ لَدُنِّی عُذْرًا} … Musa (peace be upon him) said, "If I ask you about anything after this, then do not keep me with you. You have received an excuse from me."
