بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي فَضْلِهَا
Chapter: "What has been mentioned about its virtue"
Hadith 8663
عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ قَرَأَ أَوَّلَ سُورَةِ الْكَهْفِ وَآخِرَهَا كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا مِنْ قَدَمَيْهِ إِلَى رَأْسِهِ وَمَنْ قَرَأَهَا كُلَّهَا كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ
Narrated by Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Anas al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever recites the initial or last verses of Surah Al-Kahf, there will be light for him from his feet to his head, and whoever recites the entire Surah, there will be light for him from the earth to the sky.
Hadith 8664
عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ حَفِظَ عَشْرَ آيَاتٍ مِنْ أَوَّلِ سُورَةِ الْكَهْفِ عُصِمَ مِنْ الدَّجَّالِ
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever memorizes the first ten verses of Surah Al-Kahf will be protected from the trial of the Dajjal.
Hadith 8665
(وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا) عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ قَرَأَ الْعَشْرَ الْأَوَاخِرَ مِنْ سُورَةِ الْكَهْفِ عُصِمَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Darda’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever recites the last verses of Surah Al-Kahf will be protected from the tribulation of the Dajjal.
