تفسير من سورة الأنفال إلى سورة الرعدInterpretation from Surah Al-Anfal to Surah Ar-Ra'd
باب: «وَاعِدُوا لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ قُوَّة»
Chapter: "And prepare against them whatever you are able of power"
Hadith 8611
عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَأَعِدُّوا لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ [سورة الأنفال: ٦٠] أَلَا إِنَّ الْقُوَّةَ الرَّمْيُ أَلَا إِنَّ الْقُوَّةَ الرَّمْيُ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, while he was on the pulpit: {وَاَعِدُّوْا لَھُمْ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ قُوَّۃٍ} … And prepare against them whatever force you can. Beware! By force is meant archery, beware! By strength is meant archery.
