بَابُ: «إِنّى أَعِيدُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيْمِ»
Chapter: "Indeed, I seek refuge for her and her offspring from Satan the expelled"
Hadith 8535
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا مِنْ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ إِلَّا نَخَسَهُ الشَّيْطَانُ فَيَسْتَهِلُّ صَارِخًا مِنْ نَخْسَةِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِلَّا ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَأُمَّهُ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ اقْرَءُوا إِنْ شِئْتُمْ إِنِّي أُعِيذُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ [سورة آل عمران: ٣٦]
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no child who is born except that Satan touches him, so he cries because of Satan’s touch, except for the son of Mary and his mother. Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (peace be upon him) said: If you wish, recite this part of the Qur’an: {اِنِّیْ اُعِیْذُھَا بِکَ وَذُرِّیَّتَہَا مِنَ الشَّیْطَانِ الرَّجِیْمِ۔} “Indeed, I seek Your protection for her and her offspring from the accursed Satan.”
