بَابُ: «شَهِدَ اللهُ أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ۔۔۔۔۔۔ »
Chapter: "Allah bears witness that there is no deity except Him..."
Hadith 8534
عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ بِعَرَفَةَ يَقْرَأُ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ شَهِدَ اللَّهُ أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ وَأُولُو الْعِلْمِ قَائِمًا بِالْقِسْطِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ [سورة آل عمران: ١٨] وَأَنَا عَلَى ذَلِكَ مِنَ الشَّاهِدِينَ يَا رَبِّ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zubair bin Al-Awwam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was reciting this verse in Arafat: {شَہِدَ اللّٰہُ أَ نَّہُ لَا اِلٰہَ إِلَّا ہُوَ وَالْمَلَائِکَۃُ وَأُولُوا الْعِلْمِ قَائِمًا بِالْقِسْطِ لَا اِلٰہَ إِلَّا ہُوَ الْعَزِیزُ الْحَکِیمُ} … Allah bears witness that surely there is no deity except Him, and the angels and those endowed with knowledge (also bear witness), maintaining His creation in justice. There is no deity except Him, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O my Lord! I am also among those who bear witness to this.
