Narrated by Sayyiduna Nu'man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty wrote a document two thousand years before the creation of the heavens and the earth. From it, He sent down two verses and completed Surah Al-Baqarah with them. In any house where these two verses are recited for three nights, Satan will not come near it.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever recites the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah at night, they will suffice for him.

(Second chain) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: Recite the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah, they have been granted to me from beneath the Throne.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sat on the pulpit and said: Recite the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah, for my Lord has granted them to me from beneath the Throne.
