Sayyiduna Sulaiman bin Surad narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) heard two men who were arguing with each other, one of them became angry and extremely enraged and began to abuse his companion. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I know a word, if he says it, his devil will go away from him. Hearing this, a man came to him and said: Say this word: A‘udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim (I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed devil), but he replied: Do you think I am mad?
