Hadith 8374
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man brought his son to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! This is my son; he keeps reciting the Qur'an during the day and sleeps at night. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do you not like that your son remembers (Allah) during the day and sleeps in peace at night?

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jundub bin Sufyan Bajali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Recite the Holy Qur’an as long as your hearts remain inclined (with reflection and eagerness), and when you feel weariness and boredom, then stand up (and stop reciting).
