Hadith 8314
Abdur Rahman says: My father and his companions stopped at the place of Rabdhah; they were going with the intention of Hajj. They were informed that the companion of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Sayyiduna Salamah bin Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him), was also there. So we went to him, greeted him with salam, and then asked him some questions. He said: I pledged allegiance to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with my own hand. Then he showed us his fleshy palm, so we got up towards him and kissed both his hands.
Hadith 8315
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), he says: This is about one of the expeditions sent by the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and I myself was in it. People started to flee, and I was among those who ran away. Then we said: What should we do now? We have fled from battle and returned with the wrath of Allah. Then we said: Now let us enter Madinah and spend the night inside. But then it occurred to us that we should present ourselves before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). If repentance is accepted, then fine; otherwise, we will leave. So, before the Fajr prayer, we reached the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). When he came out, he asked: Who are these people? We said: It is us, those who have fled from battle and come back. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No, no, rather you are those who have returned towards fighting, and I am your helper, and I am the refuge and helper of all Muslims. So we drew near to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and kissed his hand.
Hadith 8316
Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I saw in a dream that I was kissing the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). I went and informed the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) presented himself to him, and he kissed the blessed forehead of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
