Kalda bin Hanbal says: Sayyiduna Safwan bin Umayyah (may Allah be pleased with him) sent me to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at the time of the conquest of Makkah with milk, the meat of a fawn, and small cucumbers. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was towards the high valley of Makkah. I entered upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) without greeting or seeking permission. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Go back, say "As-salamu Alaikum" and ask if you may enter. Amr reported that this incident was narrated to him by Umayyah bin Safwan; he had not heard it from Kalda. Dahhak and Ibn Harith said: This was after Safwan had embraced Islam. Dahhak and Abdullah bin Harith mentioned the sending of milk and venison, but did not mention cucumber.
Hadith 8297
Zaid bin Aslam says: My father sent me to Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them). I said to him: May I come in? He recognized my voice and said: O son! When you come to a people, first say "As-Salamu Alaikum." If they respond, then ask if you may enter. Then he saw his son Waqid dragging his lower garment, so he said: Raise your lower garment. I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever drags his clothes out of pride, Allah Almighty will not look at him.
Hadith 8298
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), while he was sitting in an upper room. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah! Peace be upon you, may Umar come inside?"
Hadith 8299
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Musa says: Mudrik sent me to Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) so that I could ask her about some matters. When I came to her, she was performing the Duha prayer. I sat down so that she could finish her prayer. She said: You have taken a long time. So I asked the one who grants permission: How should I seek permission from her? He said: You should say like this: O Prophet, peace be upon you, and the mercy and blessings of Allah. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. Peace be upon the Mothers of the Believers or the Wives of the Messenger. Peace be upon you. Then I went to Sayyidah. The complete hadith is coming in Fatawa Aisha.
