Hadith 8286
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Busr Mazni (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would come to people's houses, he would stand near its wall and would not stand in front of its door.
Hadith 8287
(Second chain) When the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to the door of someone's house to seek permission, he would not stand facing the door; rather, he would walk along the wall until he had sought permission or else he would return.
Hadith 8288
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with them both, he says: I sought permission from the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Who is it? I said: It is me, me. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Me, me... what is this?" Muhammad, the narrator, says: It is as if the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, disliked the word "me."
