Chapter on What Has Been Reported Regarding Its Affirmation
Hadith 7762
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يُورَدُ مُمْرِضٌ عَلَى مُصِحٍّ
Syedna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A sick person should not be admitted to the place of a healthy person."
Hadith 7763
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تُدِيمُوا إِلَى الْمَجْذُومِينَ النَّظَرَ
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not look at leprosy patients for a long time.
Hadith 7764
عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تُدِيمُوا النَّظَرَ إِلَى الْمُجَذَّمِينَ وَإِذَا كَلَّمْتُمُوهُمْ فَلْيَكُنْ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ قِيدَ رُمْحٍ
Sayyiduna Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not look at leprosy patients for a long time, and when you speak to them, there should be a distance between you and them equal to the length of a spear.
Hadith 7765
عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الشَّرِيدِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَدِمَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ مَجْذُومٌ مِنْ ثَقِيفٍ لِيُبَايِعَهُ فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ ائْتِهِ فَأَخْبِرْهُ أَنِّي قَدْ بَايَعْتُهُ فَلْيَرْجِعْ
Sayyiduna Shuraid bin Suwaid Thaqafi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a leprous man from Banu Thaqif came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to pledge allegiance to him. I went to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said that a man afflicted with leprosy wishes to pledge allegiance to you. He said: Go to him and tell him that I have accepted his pledge; he may return from there.
Hadith 7766
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ فِرَّ مِنَ الْمَجْذُومِ فِرَارَكَ مِنَ الْأَسَدِ
Syedna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Flee from a leper as you would flee from a lion.
