Hadith 7692
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) described the treatment for the disease of sciatica as follows: Take a black wild ram that is of middle age—not too old and not too young—slaughter it, divide the meat of its hip into three parts, and after melting it, that is, making a broth, drink it for three days.
Hadith 7693
Sayyiduna Ma’bad bin Sirin narrates from a man of the Ansar, and that Ansari narrates from his father that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prescribed the treatment for the disease of sciatica (irq al-nasa) as follows: An Arabian ram should be taken, which is neither very young nor very old. The meat from its hip should be taken and melted, that is, broth should be made from it, and it should be divided into three parts. Each day, one part should be drunk on an empty stomach.
