Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Cover the vessels and tie the mouths of the water skins, for there is a night in the year in which a plague descends, and it enters every vessel that is not covered and every water skin whose mouth is not tied.
