3 hadith
Hadith 7431
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Busr Mazni (may Allah be pleased with them both), he says: My parents sent me to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to invite him for a meal. I went, and he came with me. When I neared the house, I quickly informed my parents of the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) arrival. Both of them came out, welcomed him, and greeted him warmly. We spread a coarse sheet for him, and he sat upon it. Then my father said to my mother: Bring the food. She brought a bowl in which there was flour that she had kneaded with water and salt. My mother placed it before him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Eat by saying Bismillah and eat from around it, do not eat from the top, for the blessing descends from the top. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ate, and we ate with him. Some food was left over. After eating, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made this supplication: “O Allah! Forgive them, have mercy on them, bless them, and expand their sustenance.”

Hadith 7432
(Second chain) Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Busr (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to our house, or my father had requested you (peace and blessings be upon him) to come, that is, you (peace and blessings be upon him) stayed as a guest. My father presented food before you (peace and blessings be upon him), and along with it, there was a dish made of dates or sattu (roasted barley flour). You (peace and blessings be upon him) ate, and you would eat dates and throw away the pits. You (peace and blessings be upon him) would join the index finger and the middle finger, and after eating the date, would place the pit on the back of these fingers and throw it away. Then water was brought to you (peace and blessings be upon him), you drank, then handed it to the one on your right. Then you (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up, mounted a white mule, and took hold of the reins of your mount. My father said: Pray to Allah for me. You (peace and blessings be upon him) made this supplication: "O Allah! Bless them in what You have provided for them, forgive them, and have mercy on them."

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would break his fast at someone’s house, he would supplicate: “May those who are fasting break their fast with you, may the righteous eat your food, and may the angels descend upon you or may the angels pray for mercy for you.” (May those who are fasting break their fast with you, may the righteous eat your food, and may the angels descend upon you or may the angels pray for mercy for you.)
