Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: When you cook meat, add more water to it so that there is plenty of broth; thus, there will be enough to give to your neighbors as well.

Abdullah bin Harith says: During the caliphate of Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him), my father arranged my marriage and he also invited some individuals from among the noble Companions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Sayyiduna Safwan bin Umayyah (may Allah be pleased with him) also came, who had become very old. He said that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Tear the meat with your teeth and eat it; in this way, the food is more delicious, easier to digest, and more agreeable to nature and desire."
Hadith 7414
Sayyiduna Safwan bin Umayyah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw me removing meat from a bone with my hand. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Safwan!" I replied: "Yes, I am present." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Bring the meat close to your mouth and bite it off with your teeth; it is tastier and easier to digest this way."
Hadith 7415
It is narrated from Sayyida Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when she would prepare tharid, she would cover it for a while so that its heat would subside, and she would say: I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say that in this way, there is much blessing in the food.
