Hadith 7405
Mawla Abu Bakr Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: He says, I presented dates before the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). People began to put two or three dates together in their mouths. So the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not eat by mixing them like this (i.e., eat one date at a time, not two or three together).
Hadith 7406
Jabalah bin Suhaim (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that we were in Madinah, during the time when an army was being sent towards the people of Iraq. We were afflicted by famine. Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with both of them) gave us dates. Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) passed by us and said: Do not eat by combining two or three together, because the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade eating by combining (dates), unless a man takes permission from his brother. Imam Shu’bah says: In my opinion, this sentence about taking permission is the statement of Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) himself, (and not part of the hadith).
Hadith 7407
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade looting, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever commits looting is not from among us.
Hadith 7408
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade blowing into food and drink.
