Hadith 7383
عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا وُضِعَ الْعَشَاءُ وَحَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَابْدَءُوا بِالْعَشَاءِ وَفِي لَفْظٍ وَأُقِيمَتْ بَدَلَ وَحَضَرَتْ
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When dinner is served and the time for prayer also arrives (according to one narration, and the iqamah is called), then eat the food first.
Hadith 7384
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا وُضِعَ عَشَاءُ أَحَدِكُمْ وَأُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَلَا يَقُومُ حَتَّى يَفْرُغَ
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When dinner is placed before any one of you and the call for prayer is made, he should get up only after finishing his meal.
